  1. What can I say?

...I've just got exactly the same for £1. ( IProfit e-book)

    Here comes the "sales pitch"

    "It's amazing, ..

    ..normally it costs £40000,

....but for a few hours only it's only

    ... £20

    Elton,

    mebbe the lack of replies,

.....could be that peeps here respect, trust you, & wonder why?

Hi again Nick. Think I can get a password as well? Cheers

    Jeff

    Nick,

    This, as you well know,

the pic-putter-upper was passed on as a freebie,

    as a for a free-for-all poster.

But,since limitations are now starting to be placed on who o can't use it

(& since I wrote the soddin' fing)

I'd like to screen all those who you've ok'ed., OK?

    Liam

ps I'm, sorry that some peeps have abused your web-space,

but IMO , it's the same as peeps ..taking credit /setting limitations, for s/w they have cloned.

  3. John S:

Well I'm thinking of buying that 4WD Bentley Estate advertised in one of my automobile periodicals (I don't read anything as common as a car mag!), so yah boo, sucks to you :D:D:D

I am happy to say that the car exists, unfortunately my money doesn't :(

    LOL,

automobile peridocals are when sellars in car mags can't sell their heap, so add £3k to it and avdertise there.

    Kinda like tents and bivvys,

.....but I'm saying nothing contravention tonite, coz I'm on my best behaviour :)

  4. chesters1:

strange seeing there all fakes in reality without computer "enhancement" it would just be a washed out collection of pixels :)

    Yup Chesters,

    I take your point

but what about computers/TV's without digitaler enhancements?

I know you could prob get your computer/tv etc to tune in regardless :)

but knowing how much any component will distort a 'pure signal' andt then trying to compansate for it....isn't the basis for most of science?

  5. Vagabond:

    Vagabond:

    .But...It's still a Volvo!!!

IMHO, A serious fishing motor is a transit van .

Well, I own a transit van too, and its got a campervan built on the chassis. Excellent for extended fishing trips all over Britain and Europe, including places some 4 x 4 owners would wimp out of.

However, my present Volvo, like my previous two Volvos will take me to off-road places even the transit would never manage.

My three successive Volvos have between them knocked up over half a million miles, have taken me as far east as Istanbul, as far west as Slea Head (Kerry), as far south as Andalusia, farther north than the entire mainland of Russia, as high as 11,000 ft above sea level, and even 350 ft below sea level (Vardo tunnel, Norway)

Only once has a Volvo let me down (see "Death of a fishing wagon" last year) in hundreds of fishing trips. Comfortable, reliable, easy to drive on and off road, plenty of room for fishing gear, and pretty solid if some prat of a boy racer collides with your car.

So I see no logic in your dislike of Volvos and their owners - it wouldn't have anything to do with the politics of envy, would it ?

No, surely not, politics are banned on this forum are they not?

Outa interest what transit chassis is that built on, coz after reading motor home mags, I used a long wheel based talbot for mine.

Nothing to do with jealously at all,

maybe a misinfored opinion of mine,

but I'll def note your experience of them.

What my opinion is based on,

is coz Volvo owners are driving basically driving tanks so they don't have to be too aware of other road users, coz in most crashes they are likely to come out unscathed

Like driving without a seat-belt makes you more aware, or driving a motorbike.

With Loony1's claimed mental problems, most of us have appeared to take the attitude that his posts are no longer worth reacting to.

Whilst Jampson claims to have summarised the attitude of all of the posters on AN by using the apparent "majority of 'us'".

I prefer to take the opinion that everyone here makes up their own mind whether to reply or not to individual posts.

If the apparent 'us' used isn't merely a Jampston opinion based on no facts, I would like to see how many of the lurkers & posters here were questioned.

Of course, there could be Jamspons 'us' and 'the rest' of us, but then I think it's pretty much irrelevant what that Jampston & Jampston's 'us' thinks.

  7. Hmmm,

I've been onto the local Trading Standards (TS) people coz of a company that has, blatently, made up an address to make it seem that the have a local presence...and it has done the same in regions across the whole of the UK.

(Don't get me wrong, I couldn't give a knat's a** about this stuff, unless it affects me directly)

The TS people reckon it's not-illegal (legal?) for the Co. to make up addresses & coz it's not a criminal offence to do so, there's nothing they can do!

So, if yuz are going to advertise in , for eg the Yellow Pages, ...and are unfortunately of a southern origin...you could go for Office suite 2, Buckingham Palace, London. and no one would be any the wiser!

    Hmmm...............

Before the mods get to this, the previous reply was supposed to be humorous, not malicious! :D

    Me tooo!

btw, b4 the mods eventually get to this..

this isn't a personal attack on Vagabond,

...it's for all Volvo owners, everywhere. *spit* :)

Have just been to look at the new Volvo XC 90 AWD.

Looks a serious fishing motor to me, so I'm thinking of trading in my V70 AWD for one. Fourteen month waiting list though :(:(

    ...But...It's still a Volvo!!!

IMHO, A serious fishing motor is a transit van .

& yup, you can still keep the lights on all-day, if you wish :P

Before anyone gets the wrong idea, I am not driving on public roads.

If I need to move around the farm where I work/fish I use an old Peugeot Diesel, that has no electrics so it will got through any amount of water and snow and mud because it is so light. It acclerates really well too, because it is so light!

    Geez,

Considering there's soo many 4x4, off-road, all-terain, multi-purpose, paris-dakar, nuclear survival machines on the roads today which are doing nothing more than venturing outback for supplies at the local Sainsburys  ....

...it would make a refreshing change to have an real off-roader on the road for once.

    Go for it !

.....tho' beware the neighbourhood watch rally club  ..

..tho'at the first sight of mud.......

I've decided to bring the old home brew beer barrels out of retirement.

Does anyone know of any good sites for buying the sterilising solution and beer kits?

    Cheers,

    Elton

    Yup,

    Wilko (or Wilkinson)

"VWP cleaner / steriliser £1.19 for 36 Gallons."

    Expensive I know but.....

IDWISOTT (It does what it says on the tin)

ie the label says it cleans....

For the ladies....Tea & coffee pots, mugs, decanters, china, vases.

& for the men ....Dentures, combs, jugs, toothbrushes.

    Liam

ps they sell barrels, glasses, Specific Gravity doo-daas, fermenting bins, corks, beer, real ale, wine etc el-cheapo!

  12. Elton,

Just a quick look at www.cbfsms.com.

...sites like that are on the decrease, mainly for the reason of your post.

Most of them ask people to log on to identify themselves.

I don't (off the top off my head) know how people could get your mobile phone details....did you register correct details when you signed up?

IMNSHO the Police are next to useless with Cyber stuff.

Personally, I'd look at where your mobile is listed, but of course it could be a dialing error.

It's no prob to find where you live, what you look like etc.....but it's harder to trace your mobile...unless you've left it on your home A/M or via your network provider.

    Liam

ps you can deregister your personal details from the "whois" database for web owners.

Errr...guess that's where your knickname comes from, then?

    tbh Dopey,

I'd lost the will to live before I wondered where this post was going.

My DLA is coz of my memory disorder/Mental Health probs.

Although you show the first sign of stupidity in that you think everybody else is daft, anybody who says they have a mental health problem, does not have a mental health problem.

It's like saying "I am going to have a nervous breakdown."

I bow to your greater knowledge of being a fruit-cake, you have obviously researched "stupidity" in depth..

    ..or are you a natural?

    Stupid point one..

"anybody who says they have a mental health problem, does not have a mental health problem.

& everyone who says that doen't really have a clue...ie stupid point 1 ...errr,

..that's "stupid point one" and not "point one", stupid.........although.......

  15. loonyl:

    .......

    and.......

If you sign up with a job broker yuz can earn £20pw on IS & £60pw on DLA without it affecting any bens.

Hmmm, just wondering if that's gospel?

Will know more by Wed & report back.

    Liam

    The latest is,

you can continue to get DLA even when working...

but the £60 tax free is for Incapacity Ben only

(then you lose free dental work etc)

The diff between IS with Incap Ben (max +£20) and Incap Ben (+£60) is the amt of NI cont made

    Hi All

I've just had an e-mail from a friend who works for the CIA, apparently Presdent George "w" Bush isn't a very happy man at the moment.

From what he's said "w" is stompin around the whitehouse using every swear word known to man after a coded message was recieved at the pentagon this evening.

    The message reads as follows.

    Dear president Bushy one

    370HSSV 3W P3SS1W

    maddas

After 5hrs of work the CIA eventually deciphered the code & realised it was written upside down.

Surely if you had have sent him this virus then you also would be infected! I get a fair few virus E-mails come through from spam but Nortons always picks them up.

It uses the adress book on an infected computer.

eg any comp that has ever sent an email to Elton,

then randomly picks Elton's address as the FROM:

and sends it to another perosn listed in the adress book.

ps I think it's Elton doing it tbh

  19. Elton....This case is different, however, as it's a name I recognise and, despite my best efforts to explain things in plain English, he seems convinced that it's me

    .....Err Elton,

No he's starting to convice me!

....Are you sure it's not you?
