Hi to everyone on the forum from a long time member, first time poster.
Just to pick up on another post regarding this last weekend (Anderoo I think).
I also fished from friday through to sunday, but in an area which is normally underfished and at the other end of the lake to where I believe most other people were fishing.
Over the course of the two days I managed two PB's, a Wingham tench of under 2lb!, and a new best tench of 9lb 2oz. I personally believe that members who are going to the fish in will have a better chance of the latter. I also had four other tench of 4lb (male), 7lb 14oz, 8lb 2oz and 8lb 4oz plus two other dropped fish.
I hope this shows to any members who are going to Wingham for the first time that where ever you end up fishing, there is always a chance of some fabulous fishing.
Also, I hope this post doesn't sound like boasting, well maybe just a little bit!, but it was a trip where I had made a decission, made a plan, and it all came together. Or I just got lucky!!
