Hi, just a quick post to any one who may be interested in session fishing for cats on the Ebro. I recently enjoyed a superb trip on the Ebro with a friend where we caught 6 Cats with three being over 100lb. I was lucky in that my biggest cat was 130lb which was a new PB for me. We used a guide called Gary Sheridan of carpDreamFishing who really did do everything possible to put us on the fish and to make our trip successful and enjoyable. I was amazed at just how much effort and energy Gary puts into the fishing to ensure that we caught! If it meant packing up camp and moving to a new swim then it was no problem, Gary would be there working his nuts off for us! I know that Gary would have had us fishing 24/7 if we needed to get a fish that bad. I reckon the Carp fishing would be good too going by my bait fishing experiences. Unfortunately I was only fishing the method feeder on heavy course tackle and this was just not strong enough to stop the carp when they decided to bore down stream heading towards the Med. If I go again I must pack my Carp gear! The carp caught were absolutely awesome as they were all fin perfect and went ballistic when hooked!
