  1. Any brands to avoid or would you recomend a brand who deal in my price range?
  2. I am looking for a decent budget float rod and reel. Am looking at arround £30 for the reel and no more than £50 for the rod. I dont expect to be catching any monsters on this mostly light work. Am I wasting my time at £50 for the rod, should I be spending more?
  3. I use worms quite often but I find them expensive to buy. I am always on the lookout for ways to make angling less expensive have been thinking about building a wormery. The problem is I dont know where to start? What sort of return could I expect this time of year how quickly etc Any pointers would be much apreciated. Thanks in advance.
  4. Cheers mdgfishing do you cook the hemp as normal before liquidising it? On the venue I mentioned before would you recomend a mix of Crushed/liquidised hemp black groundbait with chopped worms and/or casters as a decent mix for mixed bags of Roach, Bream and Perch?
  5. Never used crushed hemp before but heard other people talk about it. Not to sure about its uses. Near where I live there is a venue with a decent head of roach as well as skimmers and perch would you use it as an addative to groundbait in this situation? Any advice on its uses would be apreciated
  6. Hello first time poster here, I am just getting back into fishing after 9 or 10 years off. Anyway I live in Sunderland (am not a Mackem before you hold it against me) and was wondering if anyone based up here can tell me of any decent venues where I can go and bag up on bream. I am prepared to travel anywhere in Tyne & Wear, County Durham, Northumberland, Cleavland (Teeside) and North Yorks. Any pointers would be much apreciated.
