  1. there are three grades of mcb "B" & "C"& "D", each one is rated differentley, i suspect that the one for the lighting is to fine for the start up load of the eco lamps, i used to suffer the same problem when a spot lamp blew it would take the breaker out.

  2. As colinw states i think it might be the mcb rating that is the issue, if the start up load and the type of heating you are using takes a high load on start up then the mcb will trip, i would trying using the next one up fom the one currentley in use, ie if you using a type "b" then go up one.

  3. I think i mentioned this before, but if members of NPFA had kept the ctaches from adams mill to themselves then we could have all enjoyed the sport and not just the few that could find the cash that is now being charged, anyway fish dont stay in once place all the time do they? they go where the food is !

I have and will continue to keep my catches to myself and a selected few like minded anglers.

  4. I have the Drennan tench rods and find them fine, i also have the greys specialists which come with 1/12lb 2lb tops which i use for tench and bream, also use them for touch ledgering for chub and barbel they appear fine.

My only comment on the drennan rods is that some centre pin reel seats are to big to fit the reel fittings.

  5. I fished Marsworth rezzy over Tring way on sunday, 4 hours fishing and probaly nearly eighty pounds of bream, a few years back you would have had to go to ireland for magic ton.

I did have to drag a marker around to find the right patch to fish, and fished into the wind, as bream are known to follow the wind, just a little home work will catch you fish.

The baliffs and other anglers are helpful and quite free with information that will help you put fish on the bank.

  6. I fished cp a couple of years ago and found some nice carp, i dont know if its still in force but you are only allowed to fish from the bank by the hotel type rooms, I did ask and they let me fish the other banks late evening and early moring before evryone else was about, some nice rudd and i even found a couple of hefty perch.

  7. There is work that anyone can do, you only have to look at some of the people that have severe disabilty issues to see this.

My late brother in law had a stoke some years back but in the time before his death he was bringing in money to the house by making garden furniture and such like, with only one good hand i might add this gave him purpose and i believe pride during his short lived life.

There are very good schemes to get people back into work after accidents and illness if people could be bothered to look.

Its not a perfect system but its there if you look.

  8. Correct me if iam wrong but i believe that the estate agents company only needs to be registered so surveys might not be carried out by certified persons, just signed off by them.

There is no mention in the regs who is accountable should the new owner find that the information in the pack is not correct.

To calculate the effieincy of a building will require many calculations and considerations to be made by a muppet in a smart suit, gosh i feel protected.

If modern homes are built to current standards, they already have all this information from the build spec,so why do we need to pay twice?

If a home has a hips from the last sale and no modifications are made since that purchase can the last hips not be used?

At the end of the day it just means from the dates that this comes in to force every house in the land goes up by between £500-£700 and the buyer pays at the end of the day.

Why does this reg only apply to private homes! surely all local authoritys and private landlords should also provide effiecencey data to the occupiers.

AND THE POINT OF THESE NEW RULES ARE?????????

  9. Hi I am usually on the course fishing forums but thought i would ask for some advise on sea fishing, from the beach and rocks, the rest of my family live on the isle of wight,Ventnor,Sandown and Whitwell I have been visiting the island most years for the last 25-30 years but other than having a go close in with pike floats and catching wrasse thats about it.

I have recentley brought a couple of beach caster rods (4-6 oz casting limit) and feel quite happy to cast a fair distance(had a practice up the park), my problem is where is good to fish and how should i connect everything on the end of line, lead and hooks and traces etc, can anyone help with me getting some fish on shore so as to get me more interested in this type of fishing

  10. I brought the Cyfish 1 man with the extreme overwrap last year and it works for me, easy put up, have been out in some terrible weather and it kept the worsed of it out.

I did find with the overwrap that came free, condensation was an isse, but with the extreme overwrap this has solved that.

  11. there is room in the country side for everyone.

walkers the way that people talk about them you would have thought there were ten of thousands of them, I can be out over the land and you dont see any of them.

You can catch sight of them where there's a tea room or w.c close by, thats not country walking.

The reason why there is a threat to some of the bridal paths, no ones using them.
