  1. Peter Sorry did not make the connection, I have the same article myself and found it immensely intruiging. I could see visualise myself there as I read it....absolutely brilliant. Best Regards Dave
  2. Peter, I have never said that I blame one man for the fate of the RSSG, I do not, but the mainstay of the RSSG was 'Open to all fishing', you are right, help was not forthcoming - no surprise there then. I may have joined as Dave Wingfield but that was due to the posting of the final throes of the RSSG, done out of courtesy. Check out Winks, that is me also, been here a while. As for Godolphin yes, you are right it is purely coincidence. If I want to say anything I will say it, but under my own name. Just like you. Best Regards Dave [ 12. 3. Peter, I understand and agree fully in what you say, however you have to remember that all the posters on this site are not privy to what has gone on before. Whilst I do not intend to go down the sad road of the RSSG, I can say that the hurt has not and will not go that easily. Two sites down probably one to go, if normal service is resumed, movement to the next site will be the next port of call. Are you ready............. Best Regards Dave
  4. Dear Peter Whilst ever this man continues to refer to 'open to all fishing' he can expect to receive reminders of the past sad affairs of the RSSG. Becoming personal, tough I say, if you 'can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen' or better still don't put the oven on in the first place. I for one am now sick and tired of going on websites where aggressive and argumentitive posts are continually made. Anglers Net does not deserve to be the platform from which individuals are attacked for statements made on other sites. Best Regards Dave
  5. In accordance with the constitution of the RSSG, a cheque for £620.08 was sent to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children on the 22nd December 2003 and a subsequent receipt was received at my home address on the 14th January 2004. I would like to give my thanks to Mr C. Goddard (General Secretary) and Mr S. Richardson (Chairman) for all their efforts in ensuring that this matter reached a satisfactory (if long winded) conclusion. Dave Wingfield Treasurer
