= Jaybees Border Collie, beautiful photo, the exposure is spot on and what a lovely pose, superb!
Here are a couple of photos of my granddaughter having fun when we took her out for the day earlier this week.
-
Excellent series of photos flibby. The original squirrel shot is a cracker, and the ones that have been 'shopped are brill.
-
A lovely photo Snatcher, love the dramatic looking clouds.

What has suprised me is young chicks still in the nest at this time of year.
Maybe a 3rd brood???????
Only two chicks so hopefully will get well fed in time for thier trip to Africa.
That also surprised me Ferret, so much so I even checked the exif on your shots as I thought they must have been taken a few weeks ago. I don't know enough about Swallows to say if this is so out of the ordinary or not & apologies for doubting when the photos were taken.
Like you say, I hope they get fed sufficiently to have the strength for the long journey ahead.
Regards
Cliff

I've said before & I'll say again - stunning shots John, very well done .

Well done to all who enetered & congrats to n4lly, a great shot, you captured it at the perfect moment.

Ferret, I really enjoyed reading this, thanks for sharing. Great setting of the scene & great photos.

Taken when on my holidays. The tree/bush is an Acer.
Medway, are you in the marines & you took that out on manoeuvres? I can't quite way it up mate.
Cory, love the spider shot, great detail.
-
My moby doesn't take photos, but they do seem quite popular hereabouts.

Cliffs of Étretat, Pays de Caux, Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie.
Never been there, but recognise it from postcards and calanders.
Étretat it is, a fabulous place for walking, although some steep climbs to start with. The more popular walk is following the coast to the West, which is the hill/cliffs shown in the photo I posted earlier, if you follow the cliffs to the East & after a mile or two look back where you came from the rock formation resembles the shape of an elephant.
Here goes.

Wonderful photos Jaybee, well done that man.
I've only ever had fleeting glimpses of Kingfishers & the best I've managed is one blurred photograph. Your shots certainly give the necessary encouragement & inspiration to keep on looking. They look like a damn hard bird to get the exposure right on?
-
I've struggled coming up with another "Guess where" but found this one taken a couple of months ago. If you've not been there it's probably too hard & if you have it'll be too easy.

More cracking shots added, I feel transported back in time looking the pony shots Cory.
I was trying to get some shots for the Wildlife & Nature comp today. I got a few taken at distance, they were just that bit too far away so quality wise they don't make the grade for the comp, so I thought I'd stick a few here instead.
Photography aside, I certainly enjoyed watching these Cormorant fighting over a couple of posts sticking out of the water.

Cory - I'll go for Ouistreham?
-
Molly's a beauty TB, I bet she'll run you guys ragged, keep the photos coming.
-
A little bit bigger than a 'launch' methinks. 115 tons, 34 metres long and 6m on the beam. You're also in the wrong country. Enough clues. This is easy.
Especially if you look at the filename.
-
Blown highlights, what are they?
This one's not got blown highlights - it was taken in a discotheque, do they still call them discotheque's?
I dialled in -2.0 & got a better one though.
-
Another stunning shot Den, bravo
Oy, less of the Den, that's one of mine
Thanks for the kind words though Andrew.
Cheers

Well done to all those who entered. The final 3 were all top quality photographs, this was a tough one to vote on and any of the three would've made worthy winners.
Cracking photo Julia, you're looking good babe!
-
Well done, again , Den! A fine Goldfinch shot. My goldfinches are still visiting the garden on a daily basis, but I can't get them to land on anything other than the shed or the feeder, which doesn't make for such a pretty & natural looking shot as yours.
I snapped this Ruddy Darter sunning itself on Friday, taken with a telephoto lens rather than macro, so not as sharp as it could've been, but I'm happy with it.
-
Shame it's not facing me but happy with the pic.
An exceptional photo Lardy, one of the best ladybird shots I've ever seen!
I don't think it could've looked any better had it been facing toward you as you wouldn't have been able to see the wings.
How you've got such a sharp image at 1/160th sec shutter speed is beyond me.
Two pics of my sister-in-law

No offence Cory, but that 2nd photo looks very washed out on my monitor, you've made her look almost ghostlike.
