    Thanks for all the advise on spinning for Bass. I had a go in my local harbour had about 6 pollack all under 5 inches long !!!, but it was a lovely evening - better than watching TV. I have also tried Chesil Beach, no luck with Bass, but I caught plenty of mackeral and a big night lance. I hope to be out this weekend so one never knows . Dave P

    I want to try my hand at spinning for bass this summer. Could any body give me some advise on what tackle works best - line size, type of spinning reel,what lures work best, what rod etc. Thanks in advance
