  1. Good report and photos Les  Liam looks a bit more sober than when I seen him at LA  Hope to catch you down the MOG a few times this year

cheers lads, yes he wasn't slavering a load of shite because his ma was there keeping an eye on his alcohol intake.

the tope canny be far off, i'm hoping to go to the caravan in may again on one of the long weekends if we get the weather to try for the sleek grey ones.

well done on your PB skate guy, nearly caught up with me there

we also had a fish up the cree for bass and smoothies but only got doggies and flounders, but a couple of hounds and bass were caught at the weekend, can only get better

  2. as a follow on to me and liams lochaline jaunt we headed down to to S/W with the boat to my mates caravan from last thursday to sunday with my wife and liams wee bro sean.

fished 3 days and in between giving braindead jetskiers food for though with my biting sarcasm and my wifes face tripping her about coming on the boat as liam and sean had bullied her into it caught a few nice fish.

sean caught his first shark (LSD) and his second and third etc....

loads of whiting, dabs, codling etc, perfect weather 20c each day we were out and the sea so flat you couldn't tel where the sea ended and the sky began...

hoping to get back in may...

    nick,

from what i've heard today i'm glad i came home yesterday or i think i might have snapped and ran wild through the hotel with my filleting knife :headhurt:

that must be a record for davy, 3 days without a skate.

now either snatcher or gareth is a jonah, or the fact that several people said the "R" word in my presence and scuppered not only MY chances this weekend, but also everyone elses :wallbash:

except that man burrett who has massive golden spherical objects in his trollies which he shines with monotonous regularity

  7. thats not good :headhurt::headhurt: especially when i,m up there on thurs , hope he gets it sorted , if not just need to spend the time in the pub :headhurt::headhurt::clap2:

the way it is up there at the moment you are probably more likely to catch a skate in the pub than out on a boat........

    well......

    my boat anyway <_<:wallbash:

    ian,

thats one of tonys more printable expressions

  13. me and liam are going to get an early start and head up on thursday with an early start

the forecast is a bit pants for sunday and i'm going to take my family down to my mates caravan next week for a few days so i'll probably come back on the sunday.

    guy,

i'm sure my boy liam would find a use for your shore gear...

he's desperate for a conger and it would keep HIM out the pub

plus i should have a spare place on the boat 1 day for you if you want??

  15. I told you on the phone Les. I am now tea total. Well nearly.

sounds like you are getting the excuses ready, or has your liver run up the white flag at last??

coffee total i would have thought, not tea ;)

  16. Are there many Guinness quaffeurs amongst the happy throng?

    well ticketty,

last year they were calling me and ian burrett the guiness brothers due to our fondness for the stuff, and ian thought he could drink more of the stuff than me :lol:

hope you are getting plenty practice this week ian if you are looking in??

  17. That`ll be alright Les. `Cos looking at your face in the pics, the meal will be on you!! :headhurt:
