Back on the Beach Fleetwood 25/01/2015 The sea was to rough for the kayak dug some good bait and I was off I expected it to be a bit slow to start But not that slow all day A nice dab at the start and a small Codling at the end

A Day Without Dogs At Five Bar Gate A good day out again 7 Cod loads of whiting dabs and no Dog fish and somthing new

I went back to the same mark at Five Bar Gate today with Dale, Brian and Danny Brian and Danny wen out to about a mile out thay hada a few good Cod and Whiting Brian came and joind me and Dale at about 1/2 mile The Cod fishing was a bit slow to start the dogfish where a pain again The Cod did show up at the end All a good size I had 12 Cod and 2 Whiting for the pot I used 70 frozen black we all ran out of worms about 18:15 packed up and went home 2 great day fishing with some good people thank to you all

Cod went Mad at Five Bar Gate today BlackpoolGot there at 11:00am Wet out about 1/2 mile fishing at 12:15 John 1 was already fishing Dogs and Cod John 2 went out with me Stu and Lynndon a bit later just as the fishing warmed up Fishing was a bit slow for me at the start Dogs and Whiting tryed for the skate no luck When the Cod started it was fish all the time not even time for a Coffee 50 frozen used as dusk came Lots of Cod, Whiting, Dabs, Dogfish and Thornbacks (not fot me) John 1 Had cod to 7Lb

It was to rough to fish five bar gate today So we went to Fleetwood Me and Brian 2rods (2 snaped in 1 day) There was a big swell fishing was hard and slow I managed a few Whiting, 1 Cod, 1 Plaice and only 1 Dogfish There was a very fast flow it mad it hard to get back in

I managed to get out only 4 times in october I have managed to do a lot of beach fishing to make up fot it and had a good few cod The cod move in and the Whiting started to show And the Dogfish do not want to move away or thin out The best fishing was at about 1/2 mile out Dabs Flounder and plaics closer in there are a few Thornbacks about as well I hope to get out more in November Here are the Highs of October

3 went out of Five Bar Gate. Blackpool Brian, Eddy and me Eddy was the winner he had about 20 Cod I got 6 Brian managed 4 Things would not go right for me my anchor keped getting messed up in my trolley I had a few close calls The fish would not come out to play to start with for me And top it all I striped the gears off my 6500 so I had to come in and change the reels Over 4 miles in and out off blackpool No Pain No Gain I did managed to find some fish in the end There are still lots of Dogfish about

I went for a try Norbreck Castle for a change [img Fish from the start a goo mix of Dabs a dogfish with a Plaice and a Flounder as well I had planed to fish a deep hole out there, but my fish finder showed lots of fish about 300 yards short of the mark Brian came and joined me later he had much the same as me plus a Codling and a Whiting I will be back soon after the storm in the hunt for cod

Kayak Meet At Five bar gate A few people joind me out to day Meet up at 09:30 we did no get uut until 11:35 2 hours chatting Thank you all for coming down and fishing I hope you a enjoyed your self Lots of fish for most I could not find any at the start but I did get sorted wiht a few at the end I think the Jedi had a cod about 5lb I think a bit of a comp next if you are up for it
