i went fishing last night
the tide was perfect
the sea was perfect
the bait was perfect
lots of fish had been court over the last 6 weeks
2 of us fiahed the brigg (we know the brigg well) over the best time we had 4 very small bites only one bulhead to show
just a bad night

to day on the way home sheff lisend to yorkshire coast radio then changed to halam fm as i do ever time
one thin difrent this time the signal was perfect i did not think any thing about it
untill i was crossing the A1 at the M18 for fun turnd yorkshire coast radio back on expecitng a hiss
this time i could still pick it up (just very bad)
the range of yorkshire coast radio is about 15 miles not 80 miles
then it hit me it was not the weather (rain) that did it was it some thing in the air putting the fish feeding (static eletricty i think)
when i got hone i made a phone call to my mate to say this to him
he then told me there was a thunder storm that morning ( which i have never court any fish in)
thay had a bad night
did any one have a good night any where

i lost 4,000,000 hooks 2,000,000 ssg 145 miles of line
got one nice bite one nice chub 6lb
the plant life is like the amazon
fished 3pm till 6pm had a bad cold
where on the don where you fishing
i am going roving down (trotting for dace) from whin gardens to medowhall saterday from about 2pm

the second is the thorn
the third ia a drain
i was talking to 4 people fishing there on tuseday 2 fishing for pike no luck 2 fishing for small stuf ( roach bream tench )
the 2 drains only have a few fish in
the thorn is ment to be good for pike at Wroot
some good pond around Wroot
the thorn is free fishing
could be worth a look sunday

its good for bass when rough and whiting when flat

i used to live there and i have found tho only places it get black lug (or Gully worm )is jacksons bay on big tides filey bay and bridlington all tide must be over 6m
what part of the town do you live and when did you move there ?
