take a rod. fished one of the harbours on crete had a great time. locals had the mullet i caught and i helped drink their beer (hic) wonderful. good luck

we all get them days. if everything went to plan there would be no fun it.

find the local club and then famaliarise yourself with their water. just walk the bank on a match day and see what is being caught, where and how. lot of hours walking the bank and then practising can bring big dividends.

if the fish are shy dot it down and add a touch of vaseline this holds it up until fish bite. good for canal in winter
