  1. nice to hear they are doing what they supposed to do. but how many times have you forgot to renew licence at proper time since they moved to post office and not tackle shop? been fishing for a month 2 years ago without new licence, good job i didn't get checked!!
  2. What can you tie hooklengths with , can it be anything you can tie the hooklength using any line you prefer. tie all my own hooklength's. this way you can change the brand of line to suit the type of fishing you are doing.

  6. good evening all, i'm with hermes on this. used to match fish alot myself and have always preferred spade to eyed for presentation, even though i have given up the matches still use them.

  10. thanks for all your help. i know of a local tackle shop and am sending my mate round who i stay with. he is going to get more info on licence etc. hope the locals not ate all the fish when i get out there.

  12. hello Hoppy shall be staying in Luthe,small village near wunstorf, Hanover. the water is 'Luthe sea' a still water left from floods many years ago. local anglers do practice C&R. water holds roach, perch and i'm told tench

  16. sure he wasnt a traffic warden? had a few years away from the bank and since starting back never had my licence checked
  17. maybe showing just your licence isn't enough?
  18. never did find who it was but i had to prove to them by photo that it wasnt me who the bailiff had questioned.

  20. hi zappa happened to me a few years ago. they asked for me to send my licence through has (i) had given my name and address while fishing without my licence?. had a right job on trying to convince them that it wasnt me.haveing a break from fishing at the time and could not convince them it wasnt me. ar**holes

  22. going on holiday to woolacombe bay soon. got a villa by the fishing lake there but cannot get any info from site (ignored my e-mail) can any one help?
  23. used to use sensas myself way back.one tip when mixing groundbait, make it nice and fluffy and get plenty of air in it. if you experiment a bit you find different mixes even though mixed the same way will react differently once in the water. ground bait is my favourite way of speed fishing and works better than spray feeding.
  24. maybe it wasnt you. the rivers have changed a lot in the last few years. may be the fish are not there to catch like they used to be. good luck in the future
  25. kendo got it. rake the swim to stir the bottom. fish are nosy and move in. done this a few times in the past and caught well
