I have got this hair rig which is new to me. It is called a 'D ring rig'. How do I get the bollie on the hair when it is a loop with a metal ring on it. Adiadrams that I can look at.

Hi Need to know a couple of things for Carp fishing. Do I need a fancy Rod Pod or will standard rod holders with a cheap alarm do? Whats the best way of getting loose feed around the bait 50 yrds away? Is 10lb line all the way to a hair rig ok?Weight on loose swivel to roll up and down the line. Any other basic needs? Cheers

Why cant you have the 10lb line all the way to the hook?

When I put a new line on a reel I put enough on to fill the reel. Then when I am fishing with a weight on it the line tightens and the reel is only half full. Can you help me with a method of putting a new line on quickly with enough tension to fill the reel.
