    Why do you actually find it SO hard to just say you'd level the block of flats? Is it because you inwardly acknowledge how wrong it would be to do so?

     

    You want ME to answer the question? NO I would not under any circumstances demolish a block of flats full of civilians. I'd rather let the bad guys get away than have innocent blood knowingly on my hands.

     

    However.........having special forces, intelligence sources and some very clever weaponry I dont think I (or Israel) would need to demolish the said block of flats.

     

    Funny really, you bleat on about the barrage of rockets indiscriminately killing Israelis yet with their so called precision weapons, Israel has killed approximately 10 times more civilians than hezbollah has. What we do know (and Israel actually tout this as policy) is that they revel in collective and brutal punishment of anyone they consider to be those who cross them.

     

    I'm a little ashamed one of my own countrymen finds such a philosophy acceptable.

    If you think I'm wrong then simply tell me this.........why does he let so many people die fighting over him if he is supposed to be the all seeing loving creator?

     

    We are the product of milllions of years of evolution and when we die the afterlife consists of being eaten by worms!

    I'm a little disappointed in you actually casey.........I recall you criticising one or two of us for wanting to know WHY people hurt kids a while back (rather than wanting to tear them apart with our bare hands), but here you are now pretty much condoning the slaughter of dozens of em last night and all for the sake of a bit of land. Seems to me your remarks are somewhat biased......ie an english/white kids life is more important than a lebanese one. I'm sure you didnt intend your remarks that way, just thought I'd show how they could be construed.

     

    The Israelis are only defending land they effectively stole anyway.......if you think thats ok then I'm off to your gaff tomorra to pinch half your garden :P:)

     

    We all know you are a 100% ar**ole, :) Phil, where have I said I condone the bombings? you always twist things, I'd like to call you other things but as I've said before, I don't want to get topics locked as you highlight me being a bad cop. Where have I said anything about condoning things, read, and read carefully.

     

    I look after children, its my job and I do a very good one, I have also lost a son, I know what the grieving is like, its the worst thing imaginable, dont tar me with a shitty brush :angry: I hurt like many when I see kids harmed.......back to the subject. Are the Muslim "lot" the only ones who brainwash their children into blowing themselves up for a cause? didn't see that going on in Northern Ireland. :(

    The way I see it is... :blink:

     

     

    I never hear of Jews flying planes into civilian buildings around the world and blowing up women and children on buses, I never hear of Jews decapitating totally innocent people who have no qualms with them. The way I see it is Jews keep themselves to themselves in other countries, Jews want their own land where they are now so defending their land is understandable to me.

     

    The way I see it is....its their land FFS, its not as if its the size of America is it? :(

    Could'nt care less. If I'm getting stick then some other poor sucker who is less able to stick up for himself is being left in peace. I was brought up to believe that if you can't laugh at yourself, you don't have the right to laugh others.

    An elderly man was walking through the French countryside, admiring the beautiful spring day, when over a hedgerow he spotted a young couple making love in a field. Getting over his initial shock he said to himself: "Ah,young love... ze spring time, ze air, ze flowers... C'est magnifique!", and continued to watch, remembering the good old day's that he'd once enjoyed.

     

    Suddenly he gasped and said: "Mais... Sacre bleu! Ze woman she is dead!," before heading off as fast as he could to the town to tell Jean, the police chief.

     

    He arrived at the Police Station, out of breath, and shouted: "Jean...Jean...zere is zis man, zis woman ... naked in farmer Gaston's field making love."

     

    The police chief smiled and said: "Come, come, Henri you are not so old; remember ze young love, ze spring time, ze air, ze flowers? Ah,L'amour! Zis is OK."

     

    "Mais non! You do not understand; ze woman, she is dead!"

     

    Upon hearing this, Jean, leapt up from his seat, rushed out of the station, jumped on his push-bike, pedalled down to the field, confirmed Henri's story, and pedalled all the way back (non-stop) to call the doctor.

     

    He picked up the telephone and screamed: "Pierre, Pierre, ... this is Jean, I was in Gaston's field; zere is a young couple naked having sex "

     

    To which Pierre replied,"Jean, I am a man of science. You must remember...it's spring, ze air, ze flowers, Ah, L'amour! Zis is very natural.

     

    "Jean, still out of breath, grasped in reply: "NON, you do not understand; ze woman, she is dead!"

     

    Hearing this, Pierre exclaimed: "Mon dieu!," grabbed his black medicine bag; stuffed in his thermometer, stethoscope, and other tools; jumped in his car; and drove like a madman down to Gaston's field.

     

    After carefully examining the participants he drove calmly back to Henri and Jean, who were waiting at the station.

     

    When he got there, went inside, smiled patiently, and said: "Ah, mes amis, do not worry. Ze woman, she is not dead,.................................

    Cheers all, im looking into the insurance and have informed the local tackle shops. The worst thing is most of the gears was birthday and christmas presents from my wife and outlaws. Id love to slab the little sh**s senseless but then id lose my firearms cert. SOCO came out quick though and lifted some prints of the garage door. Whats a kick in the dooh dahs is that it was stolen while i was organising the water safety for this charity event www.paddleroundthepier.com Where is the karma in that??

    I had to vote FOR Ronaldo .... he has saved us Scots having to listen to all the over the top media - Land of Hype and Glory stuff. The England team played no good football at all and had an easy route through to where they got when you look at the standard of the other teams that got through ... blame Sven if anyone!!!!! England got what they deserved, thank you Ronaldo .... if England played better football, and deserved to progress I'd maybe feel different.
