cheers for the replies guys.
its a shame but thats life. forget burntisland, its ******** central. in the docks you can get a few small coalies, with the odd surprise, but i mean odd! you can catch the odd small cod off the racks, and then there is the pier!! forget the peor as it is always mobed with people. 10 people fishing in a spot that can fit only 4, all trying to catch the same thing! a few mackeral that kick about there. if you do catch them thought you still have to get tham past the seal, who has learned a very clever trick. he sits directly below the pier where you cannot see him, and while your happily bringing in you nice mackeral, your just about to lift it out of the water, ad bang! you just see this huge black shape hitting your prize catch at 100 miles an hour. he then has the chhek to pop up about 40 yards out and proceed to eat your fish infront of you eyes!!!
i ended up going to eyemouth rocks on saturday and it was a bit ****. a few small pollack, a few tiny coalies and one mackeral!
all im looking for is a few fish to catch, and it doesnt matter what they are aor how big they are, i would rather catch a 100 small fish than spend all day catching one fish...just the nature of the beast( former coarse match angler)
