  1. I would've been pleased to buy it from you Steve but I responded very quickly to Budgies suggestion and parted with my credit card number! I'll put your site on favourites. Regards, Denis
  2. Thanks Budgie, ordered it from Amazon-another fishing book to add to the bedside table collection-sad but true.
  3. I'm ordering it, but you're right, someone get a camcorder going, it would have saved me a lot of time collating info from various sources about boat seats/mudweights/anchors/lights/engine size/rod holders-I feel a project coming on....
  4. Many thanks Chris, I think I'll get 'A Passion For Angling'.
  5. I'm interested in getting some dvd's/videos on general aspects of coarse fishing so would appreciate some recommendations from the forum. Also, is there such a thing as a video on freshwater boat river fishing? Thanks [ 26. January 2005, 12:06 PM: Message edited by: Coramandel ]
  6. Thanks for all the help gents!! Denis
  7. Thanks Ant, great site, I shall contact them Monday, they're not far from me.
  8. Thanks Jim. Another question-as I haven't bought clothing at tackle shops before, how can I get clarification on sizes? Is there anywhere to define in chest/waist size or leg length what medium/large is?
  9. Thanks. Not a big fan of ebay as I like to know where I stand quickly! The Wychwoods are £30 more than prologic so I guess they'd be all singing, all dancing. Can anyone recommend these?
  10. Could anyone recommend a moderately priced bib & brace?
  11. Thanks-great site, just ordered the printed book. Pretty similar to the book I mentioned but more comprehensive.
  12. Thanks for the great responses! Think I've got enough to go on here. Peter-you're right, I wouldn't dream of it! Argyll & Budgie, lovely looking practical boats-have you read 'The Ingenious Angler'? Thanks again.
  13. Greetings All, My first post here enjoying the experience of reading some informative and really useful tips.I'm looking for advice. Can anyone recommend some inexpensive seating with a back rest for a rowing boat? I fish the Thames (Benson/Dorchester On Thames area in a 14 foot aluminium rowing boat and it's killing my back! Does anyone else do something similar- I've seen some advertised in Trout mags/websites for around £235 but that's a bit rich for me. Any help would be much appreciated
