  1. hi, firstly id like to apollogise that i keep posting asking for information about venues rather than replying to others topics....its just i dont like to give an oppinion if i am unsure.. anyway...i am thinking of fishing at the isle of grain at the weekend as i have heard of reports of school bass coming out and i just would like to try something different... anyway....can i have some info on where to fish in grain or around that area....best bait....rigs....type of ground there etc... cheers again..james

  3. so your saying a match rod is the best for all round mulleting(e.g. foat fishing and ledgering). if os what pound test curve is the best.... i am still confused as wether to get a match rod(whatever LB T.C), a quiver tip or feeder rod. if match rod what T.C?? cheers james

  6. i am going to try for mullet this year but i need to know a few thigs first, i know about the bait and the bread bag and things like that...the only real problem is what rod to get...preferably a cheap one (£20) if possible. i am looking at buying the alvey 400 centrepin reel aswell. please add any other useful tips.. cheers james

  8. old old was the boy because i was talking to a boy of about the same age of me(15), and he caught a little dab about the size of an adult palm and he argeed even though i was saying nothing..that it was 5lb...hard to tell.

  11. right, well my dad has a boat moored at wateringbury in maidstone, kent. iv noticed a lot of fishing down there....i fish salt water myself but when im down there i fish all day and im starting to get attached to the sound of fishing for pike. can someone please fill me in on what i need to know for pike...E.G: lures, deadbait, time of year, dawn or dusk, all sorts like that.. also any helpful websites would be much appriciated. also can someone give me a link to or tell me the best lure to get...just to get started.. cheers james
  12. im up for entering....i think there has to be restrictions on how they catch the fissh on the shore.....by rod and reel....otherwise someone could throw a net in..lol
  13. hi firstly id like to say hi because im new to this forum. anyway, im sure a lot of people on here would think the same as me which is 'what is the best tips to catching bass in the river medway' my theory is that if everyone contributes as to what works best for them in the river medway, people could catch more bass this summer. basically sharing tips with each other. things such as rigs, bait, marks ect woud be great help. also wether, time of day..allsorts cheers james
