I have just been down to a spot I used to fish in Canterbury called Barton Mill. It has been developed on both sides and now there are major restrictions on parking and also a no fishing sign. I presume this may be private land but I have taken a look at the water and it would be possible to wade up to gain access to the weir (or possibly a small punt or dingy). Does anyone know what the water rights are? It is more imperitive to try and gain access as some prats (I suppect the Environment Agency) have cut back all the weed in the river so there is virtually no holding spots left and the water is to low. Hi to everyone firstly! I am looking to buy a new beachcaster rod (multiplier version), I don't want a stick. I would like something that can chuck up to 6oz, be a reasonably good casting tool but also have good sensitivity in the tip (not much point putting the bait out if I can't see a bite!). Any recommendations?
