Went fishing yesterday at funace mill - had planned to fish Mucky Meadow because I have a competition coming up there on saturday. Was gutted when I got there to find out Mucky Meadow was closed. 5 minutes later found out why it was closed Matt and Mick Brown were filming on there. Matt was fly fishing for carp and Mick was on floating bread. Does anyone know what programme he was filming for. Had a good day on furnace pool though. Probably caught more that Matt and Mick put together, because every time I looked they were not catching. HA HA!!!!!!

Has anyone out there in the fishing world got any killer info on Front Dean's pool. Tips, how deep it is, baits etc..... Any help much appreciated thanks

I have brought some pellets but at the moment they are all floaters and hard, is the best way to make them hookable and to sink to soak them in water. If yes how long do you soak them for.

I worked at the show for WMAC and really loved it the show was brilliant plenty of good gear to buy and plenty of bargains.

I fished my first match of the year on Barley and come a very poor 11th out of 16 I only caught 3 fish for just over 2lb the winner came from the peg next to me and he had carp all day for 24lb.

I am there saturday got our first contest of the season for our new club just started. We will be fishing on Barley from 8.30 See you there perhaps

how much are there hooker pellets and feeder pellets

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between F1's and normal everyday carp. I hear a lot of people talking about F1's but have never caught one. What are there sizes.

I used to work for WMAC and we used to sell hell of a lot of these poles. If you are completely new to pole fishing they are ideal. They are quite heavy and not suitable if after decent carp. If pole fished before then perhaps spending a bit more money would be better.
