  1. I thought we elect a Goverment not a Prime minister!

He should however stand trial for being in possetion of a false passport and then be dealt with acordingly either way we will be paying for his Food and board banged up or otherwise they wont send him home :nonono:

  2. The problem with Islam is that it's so steeped in intolerance and violence and forced into the minds of the tiniest babes that it distorts their very concepts of normality, proportionality and morality.

The Bible is filled with evil but as KB would be want to say, people tend to look only at the good bits.

Islam's holy book is also filled with hatred but by contrast it's used to bring kids up to hate Jews, look down on kafirs (non believers) and to think that the most depraved level of violence is normal and justified.

This perversion of morality permeates everything including children’s TV in the Islamic world as a quick search of YouTube will quickly reveal and is infinitely more poisonous than any violent movie or video game.

So unless you can demonstrate that there are lots of other murders by beheading going on that have nothing to do with religion, I think you have to at least concede that there may be some causal link.

    Proof will be dificult Granted,

I believe a Russian chap, killed a girl the other day by decapitating her, Winston Silkot killed PC kieth Blakelot in the same manor,

I am mindfull not to lose sight of the Crime, all the same whatever the reason behind it may be you are right ken who Knows?

  3. Would it have made any differance how she was murderd?

Decapitation seems to be linked to islam owing to a spate of fanatical Murders, and the chosen form of execution in KSA.

Normaly unfaithfull wives get stoned to death I think the crime needs to separated from the belief in this instance untill proven otherwise.

  4. I Deptford creek the RSPB have built small floating Islands for water fowl, But polystyrene isnt very ECO friendly so I dought if thats the case with that Island, Could it just be a old waste dumped at the canal side that nature is having a go at dealing with? time and erosion has washed it out of the canal bank?

  5. I agree with Barry, Glenn get some off cuts of Re bar it is made for the job most sites will have a odd ends the the steel guys would give you for a beer. the depth it is set into the concrete is important as barry mentioned to near the surface it will oxidise and blow your slab.

  6. If you are on bedrock the footings won't be an issue and the hardcore will ony serve to level up and save on the amount of Concrete you use, Breeze blocks have poor weathering qaulities and should be renderd if exposed to the elements they also dont have the compresive strenth I would look for in steps and they will suck water up like a sponge in the wet and if it should freeze they will blow they will also get mossy, when you poor your concrete agitiate it with a rod to get it to fill all the nooks if you have an orbital sander run the pad of that over the formwork even the vibrations from that will cause the viods to fill up,you can hire a vibrating tool made for the job. as for infilling step risers prior to laying the treader I would especialy if you are going to use Breeze blocks it would add to the strength then all the blocks would be doing is acting as a faceing that would still need rendering but would be stronger, as for tying the stairs to the dry stone wall with angle irons I cant help there I have never worked on or with one not a lot of them in Kent I would suggest that the concrete would key into the open stone work on its own. :D one last thing make sure all your risers are the same hight your brain after about three steps has worked out the spacing of the steps if they keep changing you will constantly keep tripping up them.

That is how I would approach it mate hop that helps

  8. One of the reasons I stopped Fishing Sea Comps was the carnage at wiegh in a littraly a Bloody disgrace, Maybe things have improved I now cant tell as I dont do it, As far as the handling of sea fish is concerned I think things are improving espeacialy in the handling of Tope, Rays, and Smoothies, I dont think the gaff is the first chioce for a return Conger these days as well,

I think we could learn alot from our fresh water counter parts, Straight away I must admit to have never having given using a unhooking matt a second thought although I own one for my Pike fishing,

I return a lot of my fish at sea and like to think I have been mindfull of thier welfare, one thing that drives me mad is fish flapping in the fish box that havent been given the last rights, Also poeple not observing size limits.

HA what a fantastic fish mate
