Off to Gran Canaria this weekend for a fortnight with the FPO, my fishing buddy and his missus. Would it be worth taking any gear with me? Has anyone fished the area before any tips on species, baits etc would be great! I was thinking of slipping a telescopic spinning rod in the case when she wasn't looking, maybe some plugs, spoons and some coarse floats?? Cheers D

I'm going to try some of the rock marks at garlieston on sunday! but it's new territory to me so I'm looking for any info on the area! Can any of you guys n gals help? Cheers

I'm looking for any information, suggestions, help or ideas! so feel free to throw replies at me! I had a look at this mark in this month's "Sea Angler" mag. The write up looks like a very impressive mark to be fishing! especially at this time of year! However write-ups can be deceptive! Has anyone fished this mark before? or does anyone know anything about it? I'm planning on taking the drive down at the weekend! Cheers

Anyone heard of mackerel showing in any numbers on the clyde yet? I normally go for them on either the sea lochs or at gourock. Badly in need of some fresh bait! or if anyone has any 'secret' mackie mark they wanna share can PM me? cheers
