hopefully tomorrow i will be freelining a sandeel over some rocks as i have heard this is a good method of catching bass.

 

i will be using 15lb line and a size 3/0 hook.

i'll probably only be fishing a whole mackerel head down the wall on an 8/0 hook for the big bass and have a carp rod also down the wall for wrasse, pollack etc.

 

dont know what my dad will be doing but i'll give you a report wednesday night.

went to the tackle shop at about 10 this morning and he told me about the 16lb 4oz bass which he officially weighed on the scales at the fish mongers round the corner.

 

thats a pretty big fish

was so sad when i went to take a picture to find out the batteries were flat

 

needless to say it went straight back
