Tesco Extra which is 2 minutes walk from my front door (and the largest shop in Europe) is knocking our 24 x 440ml cans of Heineken Filtered (3.4%) for £7:49 unbelivable value!!!! But your right you consumption increases 10 fold so you don't save money you just get a bigger hangover on a more regular basis but @ 31p a can who cares?

Hi all,
Anyone go to Tacklefest 2002 @ Peterborough over the weekend? I went yesterday with my better half, my brother and a mate. Had a good day out and picked up a couple of bargins although prices weren't as low as I'd hoped. My brother finally bought my 40th birthday pressie, some 13 months and 4 days late!!! but it was worth the wait as I'm now the proud owner of a JRC mega-combi rucksack (excellent kit). Only one problem though, some gypsy had stolen the male piece of the plastic press-buckle on the chest strap and I didn't notice until I got home (also can't remember which stand I bought it from). What's more frustrating is there was a stand selling PROTAK clothing and all sorts of buckles, clips, webbing etc etc where I could have bought a new one for the grand sum of 30p. Anyone got any ideas who was running the stands or where I could get hold of a new buckle? Tried searching for JRC web-site without much sucess.
Cheers - Phil
