diawa porky pig always a good bet if they are over £50 get a second hand one
depends on what you want to use it for
-
when fly tying test the hook first by flicking it when in the vice it should tell you if your gonna have any problems.
still unheard of a hook snapping like that though
-
congrats
i suppose yo will be going back again

sea angler or was it total sea fishing cant remember
I know its the one with neil mckellow in it
both are out now
just go and have a look in smiths they have it
-
I think id rather know why if you didnt
make sure you plumb it properly as there are loads of bars gulleys and plateaux
find em, find the fish no problem.
-
is that a baitrunner reel?
have you tried shimano direct maybe they have some lying around in wharehouse somewhere
-
nearly forgot make sure you take coins for machine as it has a pay and diplay machine to get your tickets from

yep
bowmans or (leggets farm as it used to be called in the days when it was controlled by verulam angling club)
3 lake set in open farm
match lake
farm lake
deep lake
deep lake depending on which enterance you use is the smallest lake of the 3 but holds the biggest fish
farm lake biggest lake of the 3 with lots of little arms coming of I find this lake tends to be the most consitant
match lake as name suggests
fish will be caught on all methods known to man and only 2 rules
*****NO LITTER******
*****NOTHING THAT HARMS THE FISH******
price of the rods are (from memory)
£6.00 ish for twelve hours but price tends to be cheaper the more rods you use
MAKE SURE YOU TAKE ROD LISENCE ea baliffs are regulars on this water
local tackle shops are in london colney
st.albans
hatfield
welwyn garden city
this water is alledgedly the easiest water in hertfordshire
access to the water is either on the A414 or via colney heath if you know the area (just follow signs for willows farm)
most swims on the lakes have good access for getting gear to the water and parking.
Baits wise use anything from boilies to fag butts(joking honest).
oh by the way the deep lake holds cats aswell but dont tell everyone
-
the fish havent changed do what you were doing before and you will catch fish
-
check out the sites of stanic or apgai with the area you need and you will get a list
-
the reason I ask is I bought a rod under the preface that it was a loomis when it turned up it was a loomis and franklin.
all the loomis was written in genuine Gloomis livery eveb the same type face
so I want to know more about it
-

-

easiest way to prepare hemp is as follows
get a bucket with a rip of lid like a large emulsion(paint)pot pour hemp in it and fill with water put lid back on it and leave to soak for 12-24 hours
after this time open lid pour out water and hemp into a deep fat fryer and get it to boiling point then pour back in the pot and put the lid back on it and wait.
next time you open the bucket in the morning you will have the perfect hemp
guarrenteed to work every time.

it will probably work for grayling aswell if they are in the water
mahbe they could be taking it as shrimp so it should work for all course fish
-

-
my advise is go to a proper fly tackle shop and tell them what you require and if they are worth their salt they will let you have a waggle
dont buy too cheap as you will probably regret it
-
bridgnorth town free fishing but the apley estate is day ticket as is hampton loade see rosa in bridgnorth tackle if you want digs around the area the severn arms can be highly recommended
-
had 2 of the said rods for years the only fault i had with them was the sliding reel seats (god I hate them.) if they had a locking reel seat and were made in 12 foot they would be the best on the market
