  1. Hi Dabbler, I would love to have some of your free Irish flies. I've been looking at Loch Corrib with a view to giving myself a birthday treat in May this year and your flies would be good start to my planning. I'm also a web designer and if you would like some help or advice at any time just ask. Cheers, carmanfisher
  2. Steve, The Sharpes Gordon is a great rod. I've caught plenty fish with it and into the wind I up the line to #8 and it handles it without effort. Bags of power. Looks good too, comes in a classy cordura tube and has the lifetime warranty. If you can get your 9' 6" for the money you say from ebay just go for it. Regards, Bill
  3. Great minds etc. I actually ended up buying the Sharpes Gordon 10ft #7 when I returned my broken Airflo and although it was more expensive I'm very glad I did. It is a wonderful rod.
  4. The very same happened to me and I was warned it would happen the minute I turned up at my local fishery. I took it back to the shop as I only had it a week but I changed my rod. I had no confidence in the manufacture after I had heard so many had broken.
  5. Try www.fliesonline.co.uk they are the same flies and you don't have to buy in dozens. I've bought loads here and they are of a high standard and the service is first class.Fliesonline
  6. Hi, Don't miss the chance to enter the free competition on www.scottishtroutfishing.com/competitions.htm with some decent tackle prizes. Regards, Bill
  7. Hi All, I'm new to this forum so I hope I'm in the right area for this posting. I've just launched a new troout fishing website www.scottishtroutfishing.com primarily as a self-input directory for fisheries worldwide, where they keep their directory entries up-to-date themselves securely online. Any returns they enter are automatically brought out on a "fishery returns" page and the same for any news or events they enter. I've tagged on a small online shop to try and recoup my development and advertising costs. I've included links to some of the Scottish fisheries already registered and I would like more fisheries to register from further afield. All feedback appreciated. Regards, bill@scottishtroutfishing.com
