I voted for makerel not because I am a makerel basher but you don't get such a good fight pound for pound from any other fish if you a fishing with really light tackle.

I am always sceptical about these sort of articles that appear in the press. Most magazines depend on advertising revenue to exist and this article in my opinion is just advertising. I am not denying that these things catch fish but if the fish are there they will take any of the thousands of natural baits and lures already on the market. I sell flies on the internet and if I sell a new fly for the first time I always get a higher price than for flies that I regularly sell. Angling is a big market and anything that claims to be the bees knees will usually catch more anglers than fish. Only the test of time will prove that these things really work.
