There are two sizes in both models size 30 match and size 40 feeder. The 10 ball bearing Payback is £39.99 and the 5 ball bearing Sequel is £29.99 They are for sale at various retail outlets already. MrMatthew, The Large are are 1/3 bigger on all the diameter diamensions whilst still the same lenght so ineffect a third stronger although I have only landed a 12 pounder there have been others landing 20 plus and that was with the medium connectors. Budgie, thanks for your comments and you will find the 'new spec' blue colur connectors far superior to the earlier connectors.

Budgie, I am the inventor but, untill these 'new spec' blue ones, I had no ability to influence what materials or the fit and finish of the connectors The very early ones ones had, unfortunately, a part fitted inside that was causing this seizing problem. Also the indentations were to large causing play and one also due to this they could break through from one indentation to the next. The blue 'Proligic' ones have the correct size of indentation and upgraded assembly parts overcoming both these problems. Budgie, although all this was out of my control please accept my personnal apologies and you will find the new ones are 'a completely different kettle of fish'. Small connectors have been designed for non-load bearing items, specifically bite alarms, Medium (original size) for all general use for all coarse accessories and the Large for the bigger handles/bigger banksticks and some prefer the Large on their keepnets. Good to see all your comments and thanks for your feedback. Hi Chavender and you dead right to lastest 'new spec. connectors are far superior fit and finish. Took a bit of badgering to get the manufacturers to alter and finally get to my following my technical specification to the letter. But at last I can be proud of the finished item and am pleased that anglers are getting the quality they deserve. Chav. are you coming to the next TF match at the Glebe in Sept.? Any more information of late about copies of the connectors? Chris, Who was the Preston man and what did he tell this Mr Jindal. What ever it was I wouldlike to thank him. And Alan, What local market and who is selling, if you know that is. Any info from anyone helpfull. And are any of you using the 'new spec.' ones i.e. the light blue in colour. I can see two threads for Prologic connectors, one in 2003 and another in 2004. I wonder what the comments about these early connectors are now! These early ones have now been superceded by the 'new specification' connector that comes in three sizes, Large, Medium (the original size) and Small (only for bite alarms). They have a far superior fit and finish and is now to my original specification. Thousands of anglers have tried the range of new spec. connector and are delighted.

Most know me as Mr Clever Claw but my name is Nick Palmer the inventor of the Prologic connectors, the lastest feature to fixed spool reels, the 'Okuma 3 P.A.R. technology (three position anti-reverse) and of course the Clever Claw pole support. I can see glowing comments about the early connectors and these may have changed as unfortunately the manufacturers did not following my samples and drawing exactly resulting in a poorer fit and finish than my technical specfication would have given. The 'new spec' connectors now come in Large, medium and small ('small' are designed specifically for bite alarms only) The quality of finish and the fit of these are excellent mainly due to the indentations now matching the contour of the balls that lock the two parts together. Now these are the correct size there can not break through from one indentation to the next. Unfortunately there has been a 'pop out' spring loaded type for sale - poor fit and NOT my design, also a number of poor copies so avoid these. The 'new spec' connectors are a 'light blue' colour making them distinguishable from others.
