With regards to Kayaks I am 6ft 6 in tall and 16 stone - I am unsure if this makes a big/none difference regarding what Kayaks I should begin looking at? I am unsure of the way they are built but I want to be cormfortable so are there Kayaks that are more suited to those of us with long legs that I can start having a look at on the web?

Hi, Being a keen angler for many years I like to try all aspects of the sport and have come across Kayak fishing which sounds really exciting. I am finding the various terminology a little confusing and will be reading up the various web pages to gain more knowledge. Having no knowledge whatsoever of Kayaking is it wise to just buy one and the equipment that goes with it and go out on the waves and fish? (Of course I know it would not be a good idea to go out on a rough day). How do most people get in to Kayak fishing? Is it just a plug and play type of sport or must you learn certain aspects before you even grace a beach? (and if so where do you learn from?) I really want to have a go at this type of fishing but want to do it the right way, so any help at all would be well received. Are there any Kayak fishers from Swansea on these boards? thanks for any help

Hi, Please could someone tell me what rings/guides should be on one of these rods? i.e. what do they look like exactly as I don't understand all the different types of guides/rings I bought one cheap but am unsure if I have the new or old model. I thought I would post this here as when I was googling I read that someone on this forum has one. Thanks for any help
