Hope this does not offend the purists out there but has anyone tried powerbait for trout/seatrout/salmon. Have been told to try the stuff by a mate at work. It also comes in different flavours apparently. Also is it banned on any waters?

I would assume it is banned on all waters where they are fly or fly and spinner only.

 

Many salmon rivers, where bait is permitted, explicity state the baits permitted. Prawn or worm or both.
