Hello from glasgow

Hello everyone,

 

hi all, love the forum guys and hope to get a little help, I've been searching the Internet for hours looking for info on coarse fishing in and around Glasgow found a few things but not much, I used to go fishing the river Clyde in my younger days and loved it but haven't been fishing for years (family commitments) anyway I want to get back out this year and am looking for some good places to try. Any info you guys can give me would be great. I'm thinking of joining a club aswell this way I can pick up some tips from more experienced anglers so any info on clubs would be great aswell.

Here's a suggestion...

 

...we can try fairly local to the Glasgow area to start off with. Give you a shot a few different species, get you catching fish fairly quickly to boost your confidence, see what kind of level you're at, try you out on different methods, with different tackle etc. and take it from there. How does that sound???
