Making Paste from Halibut Pellets

Hi everyone

Have any of you got any tips on making decent paste from large Halibut Pellets?

I guess soaking them in boiling water (Scorching - I know) and eventually add some eggs to bind the whole lot together.

Also whats the ideal amount of eggs ratio to pellets is best? and of course have any of you found a winning combination of addictives to add to the paste?

Hi m8,

 

Best thing to do is, grind your pellets down to a very fine powder, then mix them in a bag with a little semolina and soya flour, the mix about 4 eggs to a 16oz mix, mix the whole lot together and bobs your uncle, u can also make boilies tis way, HTH

i wouldnt bother with the paste matey our carpy friends just love munching on those crunchy pellets
