size of fish

i know of a pond about 1/2 - 3/4 of an acre with the average depth of 16ft it has tench,roach and pike in it(judging on activity in the night id say about 10 pike) has any 1 got any idea how big the fish COULD grow in such a small pond.it has nt been fished for years also theres lily pads going all the way around it with the 1 side of it covered in over hanging trees.the last time i know sombody fished it 3 years ago they had tench up to 5lb.also how do u attach a deadbait 2 a trace properly?

could well hold a double,(10lb+) maybe one solitary 15,if there are alot of prey this is possible.pike thrive on neglect.as for ataching a dead bait properly have a look on http://www.pacgb.com or www.hooklinks.co.uk/pike/ that wil give you a betetr idea mate.when are you trying for thse pike mate? be a better idea to leave the pike till end of summer mate they tend to wolf down deads in the summer plus they fight a lot harder,often to the point where they will gas up on release and some times they die.
