Waldegraves Holiday Park - Mersea Island

Me and the lads are booking our yearly fishing trip and one of the places I am considering is Waldegraves Holiday Park on Mersea Island.

 

Has anyone fished there recently?

Are the prospects good for silvers and some larger stuff like carp, bream, tench, etc?

Is it too crowded?

Never fished it myself, Though its very close to my home. I have had a look at it before and its not much more than a few puddles. Probably ok for a bit of f loat bashing, I do belive theres a few carp in there but nothing to exciting.

If its carp your after theres always chigbourgh near maldon. I think thats still day ticket. Its about twenty minutes from mersea.
