Mike wanted to plot a group of wrecks 46 miles east of Newcastle. We got a bit of fishing done on the way.

Nice Vid

Looks like good fishing again.

The speed that you can flit between unproductive wrecks and productive ones makes all the difference.

Thanks Ivan. Mike can drift between 30 - 50 different wrecks in a day. By throwing one of the engines into reverse he can double the 'paddle wheel effect' which means the boat can be spun in it's own length. This makes it amazingly manouvreable over wrecks.

Keep the video coming Alan. The sea looked a bit rough this time.

You will experiment fishing long distant wrecks off Whitby soon, won't you?

Hi Lek,

Because we are still berthed in Hartlepool the current plan is to plot wrecks north or east or n/e of us because they are less distance. Once we get into Whitby these wrecks will be an additional 20 miles from port. When we are berthed in Whitby Mike will be mainly travelling east. We are using the current trips to fully map each wreck with 4/5 gps positions so we can set the drift quickly in future. I don't consider these to be fishing trips.
