  1. The deep sea fishing season in Thailand (3-4 days trip out to Andaman Sea) starts October - May. Now it is a monsoon very few boats venture out very far. It normally costs around £150-£200 for a trip to Similan Islands. To really target the big game fish such as big tuna, big grouper, Snapper, you need to fish the Burmese Indian Ocean (Burma Bank). This typical trip will cost you around £400 -£450 for 5-6 day trip. It sounds expensive but fishing in Thailand will include 3 meals most days plus snacks and soft drinks although people usually bring their own beer and whiskey If you stay in Krabi, the nearest good fishing port will be Tub Lamu, Pang- nga province north of Krabi. I am sure there are good boats in nearby Phuket but Thai people including me tend to go out from this har bour or the one further up north at Ranong province. Here are popular boats with good skippers: Polaris - sails form Ranong, Tel: (09 ) - 289-9159 http://www.siamfishing.com/content/view.ph...03&cat=trip Tai Leu - sails from Tub Lamu, Pang nga, Tel: (076) 443-068 http://www.siamfishing.com/content/view.ph...06&cat=trip Fishing from shore around Krabi (I have no experiance here) I guess people then to use strips of squid, or small prawns to target palm-size reef, rock fish which there are plenty around resorts. If you go in a few weeks time, one-day in shore fishing should be available on most resorts but I have no experience to suggest any particular boats. Hope this helps
  2. Is it gonna affect Brid Pier anglers, myself included when the project starts?
  3. Well done Ivan Another specie for your impressive bag.
  4. Keep the video coming Alan. The sea looked a bit rough this time. You will experiment fishing long distant wrecks off Whitby soon, won't you? poogong
  5. Brilliant video Alan, especially the sound track And look like you and your crew had a good day fishing as well. Did you bait the pirk when pirking? poogong

  8. Alan A friend of mine and his two friends are interested in the trip but just worried a little bit about the cost if the boat is not fully booked. So he said if the party needs a few more people, can you please contact Dennis on 07878472262. Regards poogong
  9. Would love to go Alan but seems that I'll have to work that weekend. It looks like a neap tide as well, doesn't it? poogong
  10. Looking good Alan. Was that paragraph at right bottom in Spanish? Please give me option in English one please as I can't read Spanish
  11. Alan How long is it before your website up and running? Regards poogong
  12. Thanks Alan. I'll definitely go out with your boat this spring or summer. Please let us know when your website up and running. Regards poogong
  13. Impressive boat Alan. I will certainly have a trip with your boat this year (if I and other anglers can gather enough individuals). I normally fish from Whitby boats at least half a dozen times a year with various boats but lately due to poor weather and my increasing seasickness problem I fish less and less. By the way are you the same Alan, aka wildercard, that gave me some advice in WSF Forum on Whitby boat fishing when I was a newbie in 2005? If so, I look forward to meeting you on your boat one day. All the best for your new boat. Regards poogong
