Hybrid Rod on cards !

Well, after looking through my shed the other day, I came across a few old beachcasters'.

So with my findings, I am going to build a Hybrid Rod?

 

I found a butt section from an old Century G5 Supersport, then I found a tip section from an old Conoflex NG1.

 

So now comes the part where I order all fittings needed (fuji rings, etc) then get on with it.

 

When inished the rod will be 13'11", with a stiff butt section and a tip section that will have a 'C' curve action, I'm actually looking forward tbuilding this rod, just so I can see what it will do.
