hi all, does anybody fish hayefarm this time of year. i`m fishing a match there on sat 3/4/04. i have fished there before but only in summer. can anyone tell me the best baits,methods etc at this time of year. thanks bluezulu!

hey, i fish there sometimes and the best bait is probably sweetcorn. Also make use of the margins most fish are caught from them. There are some BIG carp in both pools but there are also lots of pasties. What pool are u going to be on by th way??

hi 14 and a fisherman, thanks for your help. not sure of the name of the pool but its the smaller one 27 pegs i think and the one thats not next to the car park.

i'm not sure i know you cant use hemp or boilies there and i think it's no groundbait

is it the top or the bottom pool?? i think i's probably the top one because it is smaller than Dexter pool

Trout pellet was banned the last time I there If I was you make sure you have some worms (chopping and hookers) you want to draw on far side opposite the the electric pole or the dam wall to left of car park, deepest part.

Take maggots coz i can get a MONSTER net of decent roach and perch there are MILLLIIOONS (just sad i wasn;t on a match) or else i probably would have had 30lb in silvers
