Camping by the Severn

Never one to leave things 'til last minute

 

Have promised the kiddy winks I will take them camping this weekend, but I'm not one for the big commercial campsites.

 

So I'm looking, ideally, for a farm or small site close by (or ideally on) the Severn, preferably Welshpool/Shrewsbury way, (my little landrover don't like long journeys ), that I could pitch the tent up at for a few nights.

 

Not interested in showers etc, just somewhere, quiter the better that we can chill out and get some r&r (and fish obviously ).

 

Anyone help?
