Greetings all.

 

Returned from hols in France at the weekend. Had a day's fishing while out there - really awesome. Nice little fishery owned by an English fella and run with his missus. Good for families - not serious carpies. Very relaxed with no bivvies!!! Two nice carp - both doubles, both off the top using floating crust. The first - a mirror of around 15lb - slurped down half a baggette six feet from the bank and I saw the whole thing! Heart-stopping stuff. Le Carp Francais fight like hell.......Ah well...back at work now.....
