OK Brad. I take your point, but it wouldn't necessarily be as bad as you say. Once you have caught three decent sized fish, you wouldn't bother putting the tinies into the keepnet. If you weren't sure if the latest fish was bigger, you could put it into the net, just in case: (I didn't envisage a ban on having more than three fish in the keepnet). I agree that you might have a problem if you were catching from a shoal of similarly-sized fish throughout the day but, at worst, you would have to sort out the three biggest fish from the net at the weigh-in.

what about if you catch a 2 10lb carp on a match which average fish around 4lb mark .

 

be no fun for the rest of the match
