On the lookout for a new compact digital camera , preferably a one that can be used with a remote as most of my fishing is done alone (the one i have has a self timer but prefer not to be dashing about causing more stress to the fish) willing to pay about £200 have searched lots of sites and shops and im now more confused than ever as everywhere i go i get different opinions on certain models so id thought id ask hear for some non bias recommendations.........Thanks

Have a look at DPreview's website and check out there reviews of more cameras than you can throw a stick at!

 

Myself I have a Sony W170, it's OK but I wouldn't buy another one!!

Try Fuji or Panasonic.
