no i have a mag cover copy from 1997 thats fully working and all but a couple of suits still do ,i prefer word as its easier to use with graphics than office trouble is office cannot open the files
i have lots of .lwp ones scattered about so still need lotus word

.pub files are publisher you need the non home office to get publisher included with the package.

my sis bro in law and i all use different word docs so it would have been nice to have one package that reads all on my pc for the emailed ones they cannot open

If you only want the information from them and aren't bothered about keeping the formatting, have you tried opening them with Notepad. Failing that, try making a copy and saving it with a file type of .txt. It might work :rolleyes:
