Hi Folks,

Just wanted to say a big hello to everyone.....i'm having a little dilemma, hence my decision to join a forum and hopefully some of you may be able to help me in my quest for answers!

I'm relatively new to pole fishing.... i generally used an 8m margin pole, just for dragging out lumps at my local commercials, and thatsuited me fine. However, i'm now fishing my local canal a lot more, and although my 13ft diawa has done me a wonderful service, i've decided to get myself an 11m pole that's not gonna break the bank, but is going to do me a service.

Anyhow, after reading a lot of reviews, ive managed to get hold of a Leeda Assassin II (11m).

This is my dilemma....

The pole itself has a power top 2, a short 4, and then it has 3 more sections before the butt of the 11m pole, which is basically the housing section for the other sections also. To my count, that's 7 sections....or 8 if you consider that a top 2 equates to a match 3 or whatever.....

My problem is, i've been looking at fishingspares.co.uk to look at a 12.5m extension, and also looking at getting a match top kit (top 3)...but i'm confused by the number of sections and what replaces what??

The website... www.fishingspares.co.uk stipulates that the butt section for the 11m assassin II is section number 9, and the extension is section number 10. If that's the case.... then do i have a section missing? I've got power top 2, short 4,and 3 sections before the butt, then the butt itself.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

Many thanks,

Daniel
