2 Runs at once...What do you do ????

This is a common occourance here in the Oligarchy of Evil(hey, I kinda like that!). Seriously, at least when carp fishing, doubles are the norm if you have two rods out and the fish are on the bait. I usualy fish a single rod once it starts, but you do get doubles while awaiting the fish to move in, and when it happens I just open the bail on the second one. Either it gets off(fine by me), or it generaly settles down once the pressure is off, and is still there once I finish dealing with the first fish.

As for pike, I exclusively lure fish for them, so only one rod at a time. Even when trolling, one rod only as it would be very difficult to run a boat and controll two fish at once!

well this is no lie, i was fishing a local lake called spring grange fishery in beeby and it was about 12:30 at night. i had my pod set up for thew carp with 3 rods on it and all of a i was stuck when all 3 rods went at once and i just didnt know what to do. so i ended up striking one rod and then putting that one between my legs and then i struck the second one and with the third one i just switch the alarm off and let it run on the baitrunner until i had finished sorting the other two out.
