Beeston weir

Hello to everyone.Last year I had some enjoyable fishing on the trent at beeston weir(clifton side).Recently I went back there and found a locked gate on the track down to the river,can anyone throw any light on this please?

Did you check the padlock on the gate? Was it a combination lock?

Diamond geezer it was a hefty keyed lock.Thanks for the info nugg,i'm working abroad at the moment, but i'll give them a call when i get back
