Thinking of fishing this small lake on Friday, anybody know whats the best way to fish it ie what bait, what I can expect to catch and what the best peg is ?

Yes thats the one, have you fished it?

Hi Ray, I have, but it was about 5 years ago.

Back then most swims produced fish (small carp) on the light feeder with sweetcorn or luncheon meat as bait.

 

When I drive past (on the way to Nell Bridge) I see most anglers using the pole although some use feeder rods. Friday should be good as the lake always looks busy at weekends.

 

I've heard recently that there are a lot of Cray's in there now.
