fishing in norwich

im going to my sisters innorwich at the weekend .

im thinking about fishing barford lakes fishery,

does any body know anything about it or anywhere else any good in or around norwich any advice would be much aprehciated(dont know about the spelling)

It depends what you want! Roach in the city is pretty good. Bream from the Yare towards Beauchamp Armes is very good. Barbel fishing towards Taverham is, so I'm told, also pretty good. Pike aroubd Brundall, look out for Charlie Bettell the guide, is, alegedly, brillient. Stone loach & gudgeon fishing is also very good around Ringland. And its pretty much all free fishing, if you know where to go! Get hold of John Wilson's latest guide to Fishing in Norfolk & Suffolk. Its all pretty goof stuff.
