There have been some great catches on the Shannon lakes (Bream catches up to 320 lbs. a day reported from lough Derg near Portumna) and canals.

ALSO..... Don't forget the Irish authorities,who are charged with looking after our inland waterways continue to gill net our Pike,despite the wishes of Irish Pikers,and of course visiting anglers...and then they expect you to come hear spending your hard earned cash. :mad:
