Just realized! What is this thread doing under Coarse Fishing?

Don't be fooled just because they live in saltwater, mullet are the ultimate coarse fish, and can only really be caught by coarse fishing methods, using coarse fishing bait.

 

I had a 2lb 6oz fish today, on a stick float, and a size 8 hook to 4lb flurocarbon hooklength, baited with bread, and I would never have landed it if I hadn't been using a centrepin reel!

 

Sea Anglers don't fish for mullet because 'their lips are too soft!'
